  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots

Method
 

  1. Rinse rice until water runs clear.
  2. Toast rice in oil until lightly golden.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic.
  4. Add broth, tomato sauce, and spices; bring to boil.
  5. Cover and simmer on low for 15–18 minutes.
  6. Rest, fluff, and serve.
