Starbucks Egg Bites Recipe

Creamy, high-protein egg bites baked gently in a steam bath for a soft, custard-like texture. Perfect for breakfast meal prep.

Ingredients
  

  • Egg Base
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Add-Ins Classic Bacon & Gruyère Style
  • ½ cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 3 slices cooked bacon finely chopped
  • For Baking
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing
  • 1 cup hot water for steam bath

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F and grease silicone muffin mold.
  2. Blend eggs, cottage cheese, cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Divide bacon and cheese into molds and pour egg mixture over.
  4. Place mold in baking dish and add hot water halfway up sides.
  5. Bake 28–32 minutes until just set.
  6. Cool 5 minutes before removing and serving.

Notes

  • Use silicone molds for easier removal.
  • Do not skip the water bath.
  • Avoid overbaking to maintain creamy texture.
  • Store in fridge up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
