Ingredients
  

For the Cajun Lime Chicken
  • pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime Zest
  • 1 lime Juice
For the Creamy Cajun Lime Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth (low sodium)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (extra for brightness)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, lime zest, and juice. Rest 15 minutes.
  2. Sear in olive oil 5–6 minutes per side until 165°F internal temperature.
  3. Remove chicken. Sauté garlic in butter for 30 seconds. Deglaze with broth. Add cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in Parmesan and lime juice. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Return chicken to pan. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Marinate longer for deeper flavor.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Do not boil cream rapidly.
  • Add cheese gradually.
  • Spoon sauce over chicken while cooking.
  • Rest 3 minutes before plating.
