Total Time 25 minutes
Servings: 4 Pieces

Ingredients

Salmon
  • 2 Fillets Salmon (6–8 oz each), skin-on
  • 1 Tsp Olive oil
Seasoning
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 Tsp Lemon zest
Optional Garnish
  • Lemon wedges
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking and crisping.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry, rub with olive oil, and season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and lemon zest.
  3. Arrange fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space for air circulation.
  4. Cook for 10–12 minutes until salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) and flakes easily.
  5. Rest fillets for 2 minutes, then garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Drying salmon before cooking is essential to achieve crisp skin and prevent steaming.
  • Preheating the air fryer ensures even heat distribution and proper texture.
  • Avoid overcrowding the basket, as proper airflow produces consistent crispiness.
  • Rest salmon before serving to allow juices to redistribute and maintain moist, tender fillets.
