Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup chopped almonds
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Sweet Coating
  • cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins
  • ½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips added after cooling

Method
 

  1. Mix oats, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Whisk honey, coconut oil, and vanilla.
  3. Combine mixtures until coated.
  4. Spread onto baking tray and bake.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Add dried fruit or chocolate chips.

Notes

  • Use rolled oats for best texture.
  • Let granola cool before storing.
  • Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup.
