- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly wider than the buns.
- Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness (internal temperature 160°F).
- Butter and toast burger buns lightly.
- Assemble burgers with desired toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overmix the beef to keep burgers tender.
- Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
- Let burgers rest for 2–3 minutes before serving for juicier results.
