Ingredients
  

Fresh Fruit
  • 20 large fresh strawberries washed and completely dried
Chocolate Coating
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or neutral vegetable oil
Optional Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate melted for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons nuts (almonds, pistachios, or peanuts) crushed
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles
  • 1 tablespoon coconut shredded

Method
 

  1. Wash strawberries and dry them completely with a towel.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals until smooth.
  3. Hold strawberries by the stem and dip them into melted chocolate.
  4. Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Add toppings such as nuts, sprinkles, or coconut.
  6. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until firm.
  7. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
