Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
Marinade
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
For Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil avocado or vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Slice chicken thinly against the grain.
  2. Whisk marinade ingredients in bowl.
  3. Add chicken and marinate 30 minutes.
  4. Sauté onions 2 minutes in skillet.
  5. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Garnish and serve.

Notes

  • Slice chicken thinly for best texture.
  • Do not overcrowd skillet.
  • Marinate longer for deeper flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
